Unique circuits and unique pedal designs for heavy music genres.

I strive to make quality and long-lasting pedals that are unique in look and sound. Unless otherwise stated, the circuits are designed from the ground up to be unique and are mostly geared towards the heavier music genres, especially DOOM, Sludge, Grunge and Stoner.”

Sine Effect

“Based in Glasgow, Sine Effect Electronics has been hand-building pedals for musicians and producers throughout the world since 2014.

My ethos has always been to create effective, intuitive, reliable and fairly priced pedals. A good piece of music equipment will allow you to achieve the sounds you hear in your mind without confusion or frustration. EQ pedals are my forte, which are designed using both my own experience as a musician and input from hundreds of artists who have been kind enough to try Sine Effect pedals over the years.”

ABL Pedals

You might have heard of them…

Not only the ‘curator’ and putter-on-er of this wonderful event, but a keen pedal builder himself! ABL Pedals is the guise of Glasgow-based DIY guitar pedal builder Angus Lawson. Having been involved with the city’s music community in a number of roles over the years, he launched his company in 2021.

Along with a small range of boutique pedals, he offers a repairs and modifications service and custom builds, meaning there is something for guitar players at every stage of their journey. Angus aims to provide an affordable service for guitarists looking to get the best out of their gear.

Always DIY. Always professional."

What to expect:

12-2 pm Headphone session: An opportunity to try out the different pedals on show with an instrument of your choice (or one that’s provided) without the chance of embarrassment while being able to chat with everyone there.

2-3.30 pm Meet the Makers: A Q&A session with each stall holder, with a short demo of the pedals with a big amp!

3.30-5 pm Headphone session 2: After moving some air we’ll be back to headphones to let you try out the pedals on your own!

PEDAL RAFFLE

As no social gathering is complete without one, the Glasgow Stompbox Social will be no exception! Raising funds for Medical Aid for Palestinians, the raffle will be drawn at some point during the day. If you can’t stick around for when it’s drawn, we’ll take your details to arrange your prize!

Food and drinks

The Glad Cafe will be open for delicious vegan food and drinks for the duration of the event. Get down, grab a coffee, a pint or a bite to eat and come talk pedals with us!

WE CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOU THERE!
